All too often we look for answers as to why metallic parts have failed.  We then look to a laboratory to provide sections, metallographic photos, NDT, mounts, and expert opinions for, at times, a sizable amount.  How often have you received a report that doesn't really answer the questions you seek, or the lab doesn't fully understand where or what to look for.  This is where we come in.

Here, we understand that you may not need all the lab services traditionally offered.  Our aim is to provide you with the materials you need to make your own conclusions.  All work is quoted upon request.

Our company offers simple solutions.  We will section, polish, mount (if desired), etch, photograph, and NDT** areas that you are interested in, not what we think you need.

• We can section parts and weldments up to 2000lbs of most any material.
• Polish and etch to your specifications.
• Mount samples (epoxy) if desired.
• Etch with any etchant desired.  we also use proprietary electro-chemical that makes the grain structure "pop".
• NDT** for discovery and evaluation.
• Photographic with measurement.
• Provide documentation of the sampling plan.
• Evaluate welds to any acceptance criteria.
• Process welder qualification coupons in accordance with AWS codes.
